Drawing together <strong>psychoanalysis<\/strong>, legal theory, and case law, the reflection describes how the interpreter, frustrated by imperfections in the constitutional text, resorts to a <strong>morality control<\/strong> disguised as systematic interpretation. From <strong>Baron de Montesquieu<\/strong> to <strong>Plato<\/strong> and <strong>Saint Augustine<\/strong>, and passing through the doctrine of <strong>Carlos Ayres Britto<\/strong>, the study examines how the case law of the <strong>Federal Supreme Court (STF)<\/strong> \u2014 particularly in <strong>RE 328.232\/AM<\/strong> and <strong>ADPF 132\/RJ<\/strong> \u2014 has incorporated elements of this romanticized reading.
